The 'church at the crossroads' is perfectly placed to serve all the communities in the area and it already achieves success as you'll see from the impressive list of 'things to do' most of which are based in the church halls.

Aerobics (Aeroba - bums legs & tums) every Thursday 8 to 9pm. For all those problem areas which exercises will shape, strengthen and tone.
Badminton The club meets every Monday evening from 7.30 to 10 starting on the first Monday of September and finishing on the last Monday in April.
Chi Gung Classes in an ancient form of exercise and meditation.
Crèche Facilities for those attending the 9.45 service.
Dancing Pointeworks Dance Academy, Age 3 + (Ballet, Tap, Modern Jazz & Freestyle). School of Highland Dancing, Age 5 +.
Drama The Drama Studio meets on Tuesday afternoons teaching Drama, Singing and Dancing to young people aged 3-14 years.
Fitness The Fitness League - an exercise and dance based workout to music
Guides The 198A & 198B Rainbow Packs (age 4 - 7); the 198, 198A, 198B (Aged 7 - 10) & 198C Brownie Packs & the 198, 198A & 198B Guide Companies (aged 10 - 14).
Guild The afternoon Guild meets at 2.30pm in the Church Halls on the first and third Wednesdays of each month, from October to April. We think we are a happy, welcoming Guild. Come along and let us prove it!
Health & Fitness Yoga, Weight Watchers, Aerobics.
History (Local) A brief history of the Fairmilehead area including personal reminiscences.
House Group The group meets once a fortnight on a Monday morning from 10.15 for 10.30am. There are usually around twelve members present, and we have a lively discussion on a wide range of biblical references.

Monkey Music Monkey Music introduces music to very young children (3 months - 4 years) in a way they can easily understand and enjoy.

Nursery Time is the Treasure at South Morningside Nursery.

Praise Group We are a diverse bunch of singers and instrumentalists ranging in age from 10 to…..well… retired, and in musical ability from non-music readers to people with extensive musical experience.
   
Scouts Beavers (age 6 - 7), Cub Scouts (age 8 - 10), Scouts (age 10 - 14) and Explorer Scouts (age 14 - 18).
Search Search the website for specific words or phrases.
Study Group A long established church activity. The Study Group holds six or seven fortnightly meetings early in the year and again in the autumn. New members welcome.
Teenage Territory Things to do just for those in their teens.
Teeny to Toddler Creche, Toddlers Group.
Things to Do There are dozens of activities organised by the church, organisations and individuals. Find out if there's anything of interest for you or consider starting an activity of your own.
Toddlers We are a friendly group for children up to 5 years. Mothers, Dads, Grandparents, Nannies and Childminders are sure of a warm welcome.
Walking Group The Pentland Walking Group meets on a regular basis throughout the year.
Weight Watchers A class is held every Wednesday evening from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. There are currently 75 members with an amazing 90+ pounds being lost weekly.

Women's Forum Social events, speakers, outings, fund raising for charities etc. Fairmilehead Women's Forum has been established for over thirty years and still going strong.
Yoga Classes are held on Monday evenings and Tuesdays. Rosemary has been teaching Hatha Yoga for over 20 years in Edinburgh and is registered with the Scottish Yoga Teachers Association.
