What we achieve as a church is totally dependent upon your
generosity in giving of your time and money. Both are vital but here we
concentrate on the latter. The old adage that 'money is the route of all
evil' simply does not apply at Fairmilehead. Of course it pays the routine
bills such as salaries, maintenance, cleaning and utilities but it also
provides us with the opportunity to practice what we preach by helping
others in need.
We are very grateful for all
contributions, however big or small. Regular giving in support of the Church
and its work in the community allows us to plan ahead more effectively and
with confidence. You can give regularly in three ways; by weekly offering
collected each Sunday or by means of a direct debit or standing order
through your bank account or electronically using Paypal.
Whatever payment method you choose if you're a taxpayer
your contribution can be increased by 28% simply by completing a Gift Aid
Declaration form. This allows the church office to reclaim the tax you paid
on your contribution be it a fixed regular contribution or an ad hoc
contribution for any amount. The Church only has to have a record of the giving in order to recover the
tax.
